David Michael is the CEO of Rocket Fuel Entertainment, and is the creator, writer and executive producer of KIDS CREW. He is a talented star on the rise. David is humble and borderline shy about his accomplishments, yet certain and fiercely focused on his missions in life. His passion to achieve greatness in the entertainment industry became clear to him a long time ago while finishing up a tour of duty in the Marine Corps, Recon Unit attached to a Navy Seals unit in the "Desert Storm" war. After his enlistment and Literally digging his boots through the hot sands of IRAQ. He spent a year there only seeing 4 actual days of Combat. While ducking and dodging bullets in the Persian Gulf, he held onto to his dream of one day becoming a successful actor, it was this vision that carried him through. Upon returning to Los Angeles, David's big break came when he was scouted from an acting workshop taught by Chip Fields, mother of "Gimme a Break" and "Living Single" star Kim Fields. One role lead to another and David was on his way. In the tradition of his favorites, Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman, Delroy Lindo, and Johnny Depp, David, in Just a few Short Years has manage to

Some of these festivals are The Imagen Awards, Manhattan Film Festival, LA Movie Awards, Philadelphia Independent Film Awards, International New York Film Festival, Charlotte Black Film Festival, Las Vegas Black Film Festival, Viva Latino Film Festival, Velvet Rope Film Festival, The Women's International Film Festival and The San Diego Black Film Festival. Born in Philadelphia, Dawn attended the prestigious High School for the Performing Arts and went on to get a BFA from the University of the Arts. Very soon Dawn was making her mark on Broadway in The "Lion King," "In The Heights" and "Fame." Dawn also toured with both Madonna and Jennifer Lopez as a featured dancer in their worldwide tours.

Following in his father’s footsteps as a filmmaker, Abdul Malik Abbott received his (film) Bachelor’s degree at the School of Visual Arts. He got his start in the biz working in the sound dept. and earned his creative reputation first as a Music Video editor editing well over 300 music videos for major labels and recording artists, then made his way up the ranks at the helm of music videos, directing all genres of music including many of rap legend Jay-Z’s first videos, including, “Ain’t No...” and “Dead Presidents”, both going to #1. Abdul also directed, co-wrote & edited the Platinum-selling, long-form music video starring Jay-Z entitled “Streets is Watching”. It earned a #1 slot in Billboard. Specializing in narrative/story-telling structures with a lot of his music videos, Abdul was hired to direct the scripted hip-hop infused gangster drama entitled “State Property” (Lionsgate) starring Beanie Sigel & Jay-Z. With it’s limited release, it had one of the highest per screen average during its initial release and went on to be one of the top-10 selling movies in home video sales. After moving to Los Angeles and joining the DGA, Abdul continued to direct music videos as well as maintaining a career as a Videographer for several TV networks as well as continuing his career as an editor.
Recently Mr. Abbott wrote, directed & edited the award-winning short film entitled “Curse of War”, and the spin off music video from the film by his band B.O.S.S entitled: “Let it all go”. Soon after, Abdul directed and edited the short, erotic, music-driven fashion film “Balance of Power”, which was awarded a “People’s Telly Award” and “Best Experimental Film” at the Los Angeles Movie Awards and Flickfair film festival. He also recently wrote & directed the dark comedy short film entitled “The Audacity” and produced and directed the dramatic short film “The Ties That Bind” for the organization Kids in the Spotlight. Abdul also recently produced and edited The AAFCA Awards and AAFCA TV Honors award shows for the African American Film Critics Association.
Abdul also spends a significant amount of time working on behalf of the DGA’s African American Steering committee, spending years as co-chair and planning an executing several events, panels and workshops for the guild. He is also a fellow mentee in the DGA’s highly sort-after DDI (Directors Development Initiative) and the Learning Tree.
