"MEET the CREW"

 EUGENE THOMAS a.k.a. "KID" -  A Fifteen Year Old African American. He is undeniably one of Hip Hop's biggest fans. Oddly considering his age He is thoroughly educated back to the birth of hip hop and can fire off from some of Hip Hop's Greatest historical and monumental moments to release dates and album sales to how many hits an artist received on a YouTube Video. His ultimate dream is to be a successful Hip Hop Star and He is an unbelievable talent at it. Kid is basically a version of a young Kanye West before his iconic super stardom. He submerges himself into a Hip Hop shell and another world to escape his reality of his lack of confidence at times and his humility from his grounded and down to earth upbringing at home. Kid is amazingly smart, but suffers from a rare condition called "Synesthesia" where he sees music and emotions in from himself and others in vibrant and radiant colors, almost like a dream sequence. Since this is new to him, he is learning how to deal and cope with it, and this further adds to his self conscience. He's a good kid with a great heart, and due to his trusting ways, he can be persuaded into the wrong things at times, because he tries to impress various circles and/or groups of people because of his ambition to fulfill his dreams and goals, which sometimes cause him to fall into trouble. However. . . Whenever Kid comes to a crossroad where a moral decision has to be made, He is Guided and approached by a Guardian Angel that comes to ONLY Him in a frozen time segment, at which point he receives either advice about whatever situation he's gotten himself into and/or a motivational pep-talk. The Guardian Angel will be Played by a Different Hip Hop Artist each episode. He also has a Deep seeded love for Dana who he believes in his heart is his soulmate, and vows that one day she will be his. The combination between His Love for Dana and the Guardian Angel doesn't allow him to stay in trouble for too long and ultimately keeps him following the right path. LEAD - SERIES REGULAR  

CHRISTOPHER THOMAS - A Six year Old African American. He's Kid's younger brother. He's a very energetic, fun kid with a lot of personality. He's smart and knows exactly how to push someone's buttons. He loves to take Kid's hip-hop clothes to school, to show off, leaving Kid frustrated when he can't find them. His hero to date is a cartoon action super hero named "The Brown Wasp".  He has a homemade outfit, made out of household items e.g. kitchen utensils, towels etc, in which his Mother made for him, similar to The Brown wasp's outfit. Sometimes he thinks he actually IS The Brown wasp, further irritating Kid. He admires Kid a great deal and looks up to him, and shows his love and admiration by annoying the heck out of him. - SERIES REGULAR

DANA SANTIAGO - A Fifteen Year Old Puerto Rican. Dana is one of the Most Beautiful girls in school. In comparison, she's a young J Lo. She is Raised by a single Puerto-Rican Mother. Her Father is in prison. She is an R&B Singer and also has Amazing rap ability and is one of the only two female rappers/R&B Singers in the crew. Dana is the Perfect package (in all the guy's words) However, She is somewhat Wesley B’s girlfriend. She has a good heart, but is hidden by her involvement with Wesley’s crew. She is also has a semi crush on Kid, and thinks he's kind of cute and sweet. But due to her determination to make it as an successful artist, she truly believes that Wesley will help her with her career, but he doesn’t take her seriously, Kid however does. Wesley dangles her desires over her like the proverbial carrot and uses her as eye candy. She can come off arrogant at times.  Her Mom was a singer in church and supports her daughter as an artist, however she doesn’t understand her Daughters interest in Hip Hop Music. Dana knows that her involvement with Wesley and his Crew is bad for her, but believes that's the sacrifice she has to make to succeed and help her struggling Mother. - SERIES REGULAR 

 JUSTIN GREEN - A Fifteen Year Old Caucasian, Justin Bieber like with a little Eminem swag. Justin is Kids videographer, producer, manager, editor and best friend. He comes from a family who has money, however he does not share its access until he is of age, and they use this as a tool to hang over his head to push him to get into a reputable ivy league college.  His family has old money which makes them cheap. Just constantly is torn between his deep seeded love for Hip Hop and the lifestyle which his family is strongly against or his trust fund when he turns 25. Just suffers from Asperger. He struggles with communication except for social media (always on his phone).  Justin knows all the stats and updates of his social circles. He is an extremely intelligent kid, but constantly pushes kid to do things that go against kids beliefs. - SERIES REGULAR 

 WESLEY B - A Seventeen Year Old Nigerian. Wesley is the rival Rapper to Kid Whom with he battles regularly. He's a young version on Akon/Travis Scott/A$AP Rocky. Wesley has an older brother that went to college is now in Law School. Wesley has a cold switch from the house to the street, His parents are proud Nigerians and believe in traditions. Wesley hates the fact that he is advised by his family to follow behind an older brother that he resents. Wesley much prefers the rappers lifestyle. He is somewhat Dana's Boyfriend, at least that what he makes her believe, but she is just arm candy to him for his image. He dangles assistance with her music career just to keep her around. He was left back a grade twice because he was having fun ditching school and being wrecklace. He resents his brother because of the pressure it has added on to him and his choices. Wesley doesn’t care about Nigeria or it's traditions. He prefers his present lifestyle over all. Wesley hangs out with thugs who want him to join the crew/gang who’s up to no good. He’s stuck between how cool they are without wanting to be as dangerous. These risky choices could be his downfall, and if he gets in trouble one more time, his parents will send him to live with his Grandmother in Nigeria. However he must keep up his rapper image and be one of the Kool kids and keep the respect, which he Loves from all his peers and kids in school, and believes that maintaining this image and keeping it "REAL" is the ONLY Way to succeed at his Rap career. - SERIES REGULAR  

 STAR a.k.a AIYANA HOWELL - A Fifteen Year Old Native American Girl. Star is a unigue and Amazingly beautiful girl with a hip swaggy yet tomboyish vibe to her. She wears a long braided ponytail on one side of her head and the other is Shaved to a buzz cut with a Star Etched into her hair. She looks like a young version of T-Boz from T.L.C. / Aaliyah with a Nicki Minaj persona. She's a Rapper by Skill and can hold her own with the best of them. She's extremely Lovable with an amazing charismatic charm. Bright, bubbly, full of energy and fun to be around and is also extremely witty and funny, and Not to mention she can hold her own in a game hoops. One Star's Downfalls is the flip side of her personality which her struggle with dealing with severe mood swings, and lashing out in anger sometimes due to her Bottled up emotions which she has to suppress due to her struggle with coming out of the closet of being a gay female. Her ultimate fear is that her parents who have extremely strong family values and struggle with upholding their culture to the highest standards and the fact that they will find out and outcast her from the family. In the preceding episodes she receives the support from the Crew and learns to stand her ground and be Proud of who she is, and considering the Vibe she brings to the Crew, that's Never been a factor. - SERIES REGULAR

JESSICA PORTER - Jessica is a Fifteen Year Old beautiful blond bubbly Caucasian girl. She's a cross between a young Cristina Aguilera, Fergie and an Iggy Azalea. She has a Great personality and is a lot if fun to be around. She is a R&B Singer and an incredible Dancer. She is best friends with Dana Santiago and part of her entourage. Jessica was raised with four brothers and a single working Mother, so she has a bit of thick skin and can handle her own when she has to. She is extremely smart, however she is a bit of a procrastinator and not a strong student. To escape the male testosterone in her household, she would lock herself in her room and watch music videos, mimicking and duplicating every detail of some of her favorite singers and dancers. She learns to sing on her own and without any formal training, she becomes really good. Make believing that she is on stage, She Choreographs her own dance routines and reports them on Tik Tok. As her followers and likes start to grow, she becomes severely dependent on her social media status and growth to validate her and her self worth and believes that this is ONLY ticket to becoming a huge star. She is truly gifted and talented and with the right guidance she is destined for fame and stardom. She just has to learn that her gifts lye with her and not based on her social media status and acceptance. - SERIES REGULAR 

SWIFT -  a.k.a Shah King - A fourteen year old Palestinian Kid, who is bound to a Wheelchair due to a condition from birth called Osteogenesis imperfecta. He's had to develop a mental strength beyond ANY of his peers. He's learned to master certain skills and crafts that make him one of the most talented kids of the Crew. Quiet and kept to himself Swift is a bit of a Science geek by nature, Due to his outcast and alienation from other kids, Swift has taken an extreme interest in Science. He's extremely smart and due to a condition he possesses called Savants, which is a form of Autism, he has the Ability to Master ANY Skill within his means. Despite his disability he is probably one of the most positive and uplifting kids known, but no one who ever know it, because he's rarely given the chance to be known deeper than the visual appearance, which is why he dives deep into more substantial and intellectual interests. During a three on three pick up game of basketball at school, Swift is asked to fill in for an injured teammate of a losing team, which he miraculously helps the team overcome an eleven to one deficit to win the game by one point, by a series of raining three pointers one by one. The Kid's all think it was dumb luck until they later get to know and learn of his gifts and talents and invite him in to join the crew. - SERIES REGULAR 

 EDWARD DRAYTON - The school principal. Caribbean Man in his Mid 30's, Ex-Military Navy war veteran and former college football player as a linebacker. Tall, broad stature, and can be intimidating at times. He's very stern and somewhat militant, but caring as well. He believes strongly in structure, organization and punctuality in everything one does. He also believes in one keeping their word to a fault, and holds all of his students accountable. A father of three himself and has a soft heart for some of his students, but suppresses those emotions in efforts to maintain his authoritative image. - SERIES REGULAR 

THE BROWN WASP -  The BROWN WASP is a longtime childhood favorite superhero cartoon among the crew, specifically "CHRISTOPHER THOMAS" Kid's SIX YEAR OLD little brother. Each week, Kid and his crew all gather around whatever television, ipad or smart phone available to catch the new episode of the heroic swoops and crime fighting of THE BROWN WASP! Christopher idolizes his hero and sometimes he thicks he actually is the crime fighting hero. The Brown Wasp not only fights crime and saves the day amongst the most dangerous and challenging situations, but also leaves a positive and motivational messages that leaves the kids anticipating the next exciting episode. GEORGE DIAZ  (The School Police) - Latin Man, Mid 30's, Ex-Military Navy war veteran. Nice man with a good heart but very stern and militant. George has two children of his own that got into a bit of trouble when he was away at war, and he somehow cannot forgive himself for not being there when his kids needed him the most. George is still looked at as a hero in his kid's eyes, but he feels that he has a lot to make up for, due to the lost years in their life. He vowed to be there no matter what from now on and he works hard to provide a good life, good  upbringing, and be a positive role model for not just his kids but the kids he is responsible for under his watch. - SERIES REGULAR  

SANDMAN - A surprisingly intelligent African American Man in his late 50's to early 60's, who is a homeless drifter, that often lends his knowledge and pearls of wisdom to Kid and his Crew. Sandman hangs out in the subway tunnels, which he us proud to call home. Sandman sees the Kids Rapping and dancing in the subway tunnels and often reminisces of his youthful days as a renowned broadway performer on stage. He is constantly trying to show the kids a dance move or two, but is almost too old to do it like he used to. Sandman adopted his name by sprinkling sand on a piece of cardboard and tap dancing on it, making a unique and rhythmic sound that the kids all think is cool and they can rap to it and drum up ideas for future tracks to record later. He wears raggedy clothes that don't match, a torn tuxedo blazer, bow tie and scarf, boots with holes in the revealing his toes, and an old worn out top hat and cane. He definitely adds an element of humor and comedy to "Kid's Crew", and his crazy daily advice often doesn't sink in and become realized until later. This teaches the kids to never judge a book by it's cover and that Everyone, big or small successful or not ALL Have an interesting backstory to their life. - SERIES REGULAR
